About Us
We are a group of Senior Citizens empowering the other seniors of our community and surrounding areas. To become a member you must be 50+ years old.

Our History
The Jeffersonian Senior Citizen Center was started on January 14, 1976, by Mabel E. Neal with co-founders Lloyd & Hester Beckett 1985. Our team along with our members are honoring them by carrying on their vision.

Our Accomplishments
The team at the W Jefferson Senior center gives back by feeding & clothing the less fortunate, donating to the Humane Society Madison County, as well as our local food pantry, we also donate gifts to the residents at Arbors West throughout the year.

At W. Jefferson Senior Center, our mission is to empower the lives of seniors by creating opportunities for creativity, friendship, activities, wellness and community involvement through social connection.

Free Luncheon & White Elephant Bingo. To participate in the White Elephant Bingo just bring an unwanted item from your home or purchase a gift valued $10 or less. Anyone 50+ is invited. Seating is limited to 50, no children please. The meal is free and so is the fun.

Luncheon & Rocks made to look like people on canvas craft. Anyone 20+ is invited, all supplies provided including to meal. Suggested donation of $8 members, $12 non-members. RUMMAGE SALE mARCH 28th 9am-3pm
Welcome to our Rummage Sale
We have some exciting things happening at the W Jefferson Senior Center. Saturday March 28th from 9am-3pm we will be having our Rummage Sale (we're still taking donated items), we're serving hotdogs, chips & a beverage for a suggested donation. Gio the Bunny will be there for pictures from 10am-11:30am and Girl Scout Troop 4819 will be there selling their cookies. Tues March 3rd (12-2pm)
Free Luncheon & Game Day. It's time to socialize and play games. We play Dominoes, Chinese Checkers, Corn Hole, Checkers and Euchre. Don't like to play games, just come have lunch and visit.
Thursday March 5th (12-1pm)
Officer and board member meeting only. Bring your own lunch.
Tues March 10th (12-2pm)
Free Luncheon & first clay jewelry making class. We provide all the supplies and the meal. Donation $8 Members and $12 non-members. We will be offering Clay Jewelry classes every 2nd and 4th Tuesday till the end of June. RSVP to reserve your spot for this class, call or text 614-305-0516.
Weds March 11th (12-2pm) CANCELLED
Free Luncheon and make up craft day. This is for those who have some crafts that they need to finish up.
Thurs March 12th (12-2pm)
Free lite lunch, chair exercises & yoga, it's all free.
Tues March 17th (12-2pm)

We will be closed to get ready for our Rummage sale on Saturday March 28th. We welcome any donations and volunteers to help set up.
